Design for the way YOU work
This is our motto, and we embrace it in every space we create. We have no “MPA look” and we take great pride in the fact that a review of our portfolio reflects this philosophy and unique attribute of our skills and team. Since our inception in 1988, we have engaged and integrated only the most innovative design strategies into every project. The result is a one-of-a-kind, unique, and custom workspace that aligns to our clients’ unique culture, brand and mission while improving efficiency and productivity; in other words, we create design solutions that reflect who THEY are, not who WE are.

Every facet of our design process, from how we learn about our clients’ needs and culture, to how we visualize the design, is geared toward discovering what defines their identity. We know that at the end of the design and construction process, we will have created a workspace that meets their goals and objectives and creates an inspiring home for their firm.

Sustainability
We believe in creating healthy, environmentally friendly spaces whenever possible. Our office space located within the LEED Gold (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Boston Children’s Museum is certified LEED Silver. Seventy percent of our designers are LEED-accredited, and MPA is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, developers of the LEED Certification rating system.

Technology
Combining robust technology and administrative resources, we  dynamically advance our clients’ hands-on interaction in the design discussion through a compelling 3D, real-time, modeling tool known as Revit.  “Building Information Modeling” (BIM) in Revit has enabled us to fully understand each client’s design intent, performance, appearance, and cost early and throughout the building design process. By leveraging the accuracy of our Revit models, we can efficiently utilize a variety of tools and programs to analyze and clearly present your design. From fully rendered, animated walkthroughs in Lumion to stereoscopic panoramas viewable on phones or virtual reality headsets, we aim to master the best tools to bring architecture to life, at every phase of design.

Check out the video below to gain an understanding of how our in-house 3D capabilities provide you with a better spatial understanding of your project during the design process. By integrating this specific purpose-built tool into the design process from the beginning, we have saved our clients hundreds of thousands of dollars through risk reduction and improved quality control.
