Contribution to Heading Home one of several anniversary programs

BOSTON – Sept. 23, 2013 – Margulies Perruzzi Architects (MPA), one of Boston’s most innovative architectural and interior design firms, is pleased to announce several recent events in a year-long celebration of its 25th anniversary, including a $25,000 donation in support of its longtime relationship with the not-for-profit organization Heading Home.

Founded in 1988, MPA specializes in serving clients for whom the workplace is an important part of their business – specifically in the corporate, healthcare, real estate development, professional services, and research/lab communities. Since that time, MPA has also assisted Heading Home in its mission to end homelessness in greater Boston. MPA’s firm-wide commitment to volunteering, sponsoring, and advising Heading Home’s charitable and real estate programs continues today. Marc Margulies, MPA’s founding principal, has served in a variety of roles on the non-profit’s board of directors and remains an active leader with the organization.

“MPA has enjoyed 25 prosperous years – and I can think of no better way to honor that than by sharing our success with others,” said Margulies. “We take pride in our professional capabilities, and we find even greater satisfaction in applying those strengths to our work with Heading Home. We look forward to continuing to support their mission for years to come.”

The $25,000 contribution to Heading Home was announced at the firm’s 25th anniversary gala, a black-tie celebration held April 20, 2013 at the Citi Wang Theatre in Boston. Also announced at the event was the winner of a company-wide video competition. Eight teams of employees each filmed and produced a two to three minute video about the firm, its people, and its practices. The winning team was awarded a trip to Bermuda.
