National Development retained Margulies Perruzzi Architects to design base building renovations for a former office building at 200 Unicorn Park in Woburn to become a medical office building. Their tenant, Winchester Hospital retained Margulies Perruzzi Architects to renovate approximately half of the 80,000 s.f., four-story building.

Community Health Institute
Winchester Hospital’s Community Health Institute (CHI) will be relocating to 7,650 s.f. on the fourth floor this building and MPA is responsible for the design of the check-in and registration area, as well as the three main services areas:

  • Lactation Center Boutique
  • Integrative therapies
  • Disease management

Breast Care Center
Winchester Hospital’s Breast Care Center relocated to 12,000 s.f. on the third floor in this building. MPA was tasked to design comfortable and attractive space while maintaining high patient satisfaction ratings. Some of those spaces are:

  • Nine exam rooms
  • Four physician offices
  • Two education rooms
  • Three mammography rooms
  • Three ultrasound rooms
  • A stereotactic biopsy procedure room
  • Patient changing and gowned waiting area
  • Four radiologist screening and diagnosis work areas
  • Medical records processing center
  • Staff work areas and offices
  • Clinical support space
